Reflection

In the first week, we read two articles and practiced paraphrasing. As teacher asked for project#1, we searched for different job descriptions on the internet. After we have a well understanding of the career concept, and decide which career fit our require, then try to write a cover letter by ourselves.

I am learning a lot of knowledge from project#1, the first-time writing cover letter make me realize the important of words. How to make people believe in you based on a letter without seeing your face, more than that is to make them think you are perfect for this position. We must present the best of ourselves with confident to tell them the reason of fitting their requirement.

There is so many different career position in this society nowadays, you can even make money for doing nothing. Beside of those career, I am preferring to earn money by hand, that makes me feel more security. For Project#1, I am writing to apply for the position of “Administrative International Trade Staff”, which I can use the profession that I learned from university for this position. I don’t have dream job in my thought, even now, the image of job for me is to consider if I can fit their requirement or not.

These example that we read on class, makes me feel the huge different from my letter. The biggest difficult of writing this cover letter is I does not have passion for this career position at all, I did this is because teacher asked us to do. In the future, I am hopping I can find the dream job that I am interesting in and also can use my profession.
