A Fraud Experience
It all started with a love story, but it turned out to be a trap. The main character in this story is a friend of mine called Kan, he is a student studying at Providence University. During the summer vacation, Kan met Frank, who living in Macau on a social app, Tinder. After chatting for a while, Kan fell in love with him. However, Kan was surprised by his boyfriend's behavior. When Kan wants to make a call, Frank would refuse. In addition, when it comes to exchanging information, Frank would say that he does not use any social media applications. However, Frank eventually gave Kan his Instagram account and all he has were some photoes of his unknown boyfriend.
Because of their long-distance relationship, Frank asked him to buy a pair of watches as a souvenir. At first, Kan said he wanted to take it slow, but he promised that he would try them on in the department store. Suddenly, Frank is very angry about this, and he blames Kan for not appreciating their relationship. Under the pressure, Kan agreed to his request and also became suspicious.
Being suspicious, Kan asked his friends for help to see what else he could do. After that, Kan's friend found out that the photo of his strange boyfriend was fake. The person in the photo was a popular blogger on Weibo and had more than 10,000 followers! This means Frank was lying! Kan quickly made a decision. He wanted to know what his boyfriend trying to do and tried to continue chatting with him.
Later, Frank texted Kan to go to the convenience store to pick up the package, which has the watch he bought in it. Kan decided to trick him and lied to him that he had receive the package already. Soon after, Frank finds out that Kan haven’t pick up the package because there is no money come in his bank account and want to question him. Then Kan tell Frank that he already knows this whole thing was a lie and he said “HA! You spent over three months trying trick me, then you fail!”, then he ends this conversation up with ridiculing word.
